Telefonica ranks fifth in the global Telco industry in terms of market capitalization, number 1 as a European integrated operator and in third place in the Eurostoxx 50 rankings, which is comprised of the major companies in Europe.
Telefonica produced a dividend yield of 8.2% in 2010, the highest return of the globe’s top fifty businesses in terms of market capitalization, and its overall yield is 77.1% over the past five years.
